Participate in communications efforts designed to promote the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering by creating awareness of the academic and research achievements of its faculty and students. This position develops communications materials including news and feature articles, and social media content. This position will interact on a consistent basis with the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering Office of Communications management and personnel, faculty, students, and others across the Emory and Georgia Tech campuses. Primary job responsibilities include: Produce weekly social media postings Produce BME news stories Attend BME events, as available Compile information for newsletters/intranet news Assist BME Communications Manager and Emory Business Operations Manager with any communications requests/needs from BME faculty and staff |
