Technical Assistant II - Administrative Services Center
Job Description
? Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve common IT or AV-related issues encountered by the Georgia Tech community, including basic classroom technology setup, two-factor authentication, networking connectivity, and email. Introductory training will be provided.
? Provide excellent customer-facing support experience through in-person, telephone, or chat interactions
? Perform hardware inventory-related tasks as needed, such as receiving, scanning assets, and maintaining documentation
Skills/Requirements
? Ability to communicate detailed technical information to clients without a strong technical vocabulary
? Ability to effectively diagnose and resolve common technical problems seen by Tier-1 and Tier-2 IT or AV Support technicians
? Basic Understanding of Network and Wifi connectivity on Georgia Tech's Campus
? Previous experience with technology support preferred but not required
? Demonstrated excellent customer service experience required
