The FWS student will assist in creating and editing film recordings for the museum, intended for use on the website, YouTube channels, and social media platforms. The student will also lead group tours for adults and children, assist with papermaking and workshop activities, and prepare materials for programs and workshops. Additionally, the FWS student will provide virtual program support, including making recordings and monitoring program chats. They will engage in collections care, handling artifacts, researching objects, writing descriptions, photography, and updating the collections database. Light office duties will be assigned as needed. This active position offers a variety of activities and opportunities, with potential for graphic design and website tasks based on the student's skills. Training on museum practices and procedures will be provided. Morning availability between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM is required for at least two days a week (Monday to Friday). |
