The FWS student will primarily focus on Social Media Management, which includes developing and implementing social media strategies to increase engagement, followership, and brand awareness for the Georgia Tech Supply Chain and Logistics Institute and its affiliates. They will create engaging and visually appealing content, such as text, images, and videos, tailored to the target audience. Additionally, the student will regularly update and maintain social media accounts on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others as relevant. Staying informed about emerging trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and incorporating them into our strategies is also essential.
In addition to social media management, the student will provide administrative and marketing support, including data entry, special project assistance (such as website updates), making copies, filing, proofreading, staffing the reception desk, assembling marketing materials, assisting professional education students, and handling campus deliveries. Event support duties will involve assisting the team with event setup and takedown, managing food and refreshments, setting up tables and rooms, arranging signage, and handling registration. |
