Engage in direct community service and civic engagement projects; Plan and lead nonpartisan voter engagement efforts including voter registration drives; Help develop educational materials and resources to support voter engagement efforts; Plan, develop and implement a series of voter engagement activities; Organize campus events for Constitution Day and other voting holidays; Collaborate with a team to plan, execute, and assess community outreach programs; Utilize social media, traditional media and other communication channels to promote various civic and democratic engagement initiatives that engage the campus community; Organize and promote community service projects and volunteer opportunities; Coordinate and facilitate community meetings forums and public discussions on local issues and civic responsibilities; Foster relationships with local nonprofits and community partners; Participate in weekly meetings to discuss project progress and outcomes; Maintain accurate records of service hours and activities; Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding community engagement |
